AU Information
AU Name: Still goes by Il Dottore, or the Doctor. Real name is Zandik but very few people would know that.
AU Age: Early 30s most likely; in canon it's implied that he was recruited to the Fatui much younger, but I'm bumping his turning further up in his life so he doesn't look like an eternal teenager.
Physical Differences: I don't think any would be necessary in this case, except of course for the fangs. There are leaked models for him that show that he has some kind of mechanical device under his mask, but which segment that is isn't clear; I'm applying for the Omega segment, the main antagonist of Genshin's Sumeru arc. The model might be for a playable Dottore, we just don't yet know. For the purposes of this game, he has normal facial features.
AU History: Zandik's station was unremarkable when he was human, though he was a voracious learner and took his studies about as far as they could go within that sphere. Vampirism fascinated him for its ability to enhance abilities, and this combined with an unsettling interest in modifying the human form, of changing the nature of a thing, made him rather unpopular. He was on the cusp of being run out of town when it was visited by a vampire of the Blue Court for the periodic Finding ceremony. True to his habit of trying to change nature, he snuck in a bottle of white paint and, in full view, dipped his drawn black feather into it before presenting it to the visiting vampire. It was bold, and it was in the spirit of the Blue Court, and so he was taken in as a novice. Nobody was particularly disappointed to see him go. He still has the painted feather, now tucked into a mantle of black feathers that he wears around his shoulders.
He adjusted to the Blue Court quickly, reveling in the way they all embraced change and control, but as his time in Courtheart went on he began to be drawn to the Silver Court. Healing, anatomy, potions, preservation... it seemed like the natural next step. The process was agonizing, of course, but surely any machine would find being broken down and remade similarly painful. His Maker supported him in this, gave him a new alias - Il Dottore, the Doctor. A theatrical name, and one that amused the both of them greatly.
And so the man became the Castle's lead physician, an enigmatic figure to new novices. Being sent to his office could be a blessing or a curse - best case, you walked out stronger and healthier than you've ever been. Worst case, you don't walk out at all. Rumors swirl around him. He has eyes everywhere, they say, and he'll dismember students who fail his classes because he's trying to build a god, or he'll turn them into copies of himself. How else could he know as much as he does?
AU Personality: His personality likely won't change much, really. He has just as many opportunities here to be arrogant and hungry for knowledge, just without the context of Teyvat and Sumeru.

Court: Silver Court makes the most sense for the Doctor. He's from the nation of wisdom, has a background in academia and is currently a researcher; all the world is a laboratory, for him, and he seems to be driven most prominently by a personal desire for knowledge.
